My God, what a fun story! Thank you to D E McCluskey for providing me a copy of this treat!

Mutant Superhero Zombie Killing Disco Cheerleaders from Outer Space (with Uzis) brings all the cheesy, over-the-top ridiculousness that I love from old 80’s B movies. Zombies yelling BRRRRRAAAAAAAIIIIIIINNNNNNSSSSS while everyone stares in horror? Sure! Mud sucking in cheerleaders and spitting them back out with super powers? Of course! Everyone knowing a particular woman by a random pair of pink panties flapping in the wind? Say no more!

I had a blast reading this. It reminded me very fondly of those goofy old Doctor Who episodes with Cybermen made of cardboard and duct work….very ridiculous but top notch at the time. It’s so interesting seeing that sort of silly storytelling brought to life in a book, and it’s so much fun to read. I was alternatively yelling at the characters to do something other than stare or snorting at their choice of action: come on, Oldman, insect repellant???

My best advice: don’t take this too seriously. Buckle up for an adventure, and enjoy the ride that this story takes you on! After all, you may find yourself facing a horde of things with weird cravings one day!
