Daddies Next Door had me alternatively melting into a puddle and cackling like a maniac. Grandma was an absolute gem, and I enjoyed her character so much! She was so supportive of SJ, and she was absolutely hilarious!
SJ was a really fun character to read, though I did feel like her personality bounced around a lot. She seemed to go from one extreme to another on a dime, and her constant switching between fine with the relationship and not fine with it was almost enough to make my eyes cross. Her relationship with the guys was fire, though! She fit really well with each of them when she wasn’t in her head about it. She’s also a much better person than me. If my friend did to me what Sam did to SJ, there’d be no coming back from that.
I wasn’t expecting for me to have such a good time reading this book, but Rebel has a unique way of blending humour and spice that makes her work a true joy to read. I’m already fighting with myself of which one to read next!
