A Puppet Scorned was everything I didn’t know I needed, and then some! I never thought I’d read a book about sock puppet horror smut, but I had such a fun time with this book.

While this story may be about sock puppets, Jamie has written it in a way that you can easily envision this happening to a couple as well. The ero-knitting had me in stitches (pun totally intended), and I kept adding cheesy 80’s horror sounds when certain reveals were happening. You know the ones…..classic horrified woman screaming, discordant string instruments, shocked gasping. It made my reading experience so fun and entertaining, and I’m so glad I read this book!

If you’re looking for a quick read that will make you simultaneously laugh and be absolutely horrified, you’ve come to the right place! It won’t have your gut twisting in anxiety or your heart racing in fear, but it’ll give you chills of the what if and the possibilities that this story presents.

A Puppet Scorned is a true gem, and you don’t want to miss out on it.
