I AM SO GLAD CAL FINALLY GOT HIS HEAD OUT OF HIS A$$

Most of the book I was screaming at Cal to quit being an idiot and actually talk to Layla. They could’ve developed so much quicker if he’d just talked to her about Ink instead of punishing her for having an incubus bound to her. I love their relationship though! He’s such a sweetheart and I love his duality between the sweet and the sexy. I can’t wait to see how this threesome goes!

I’m really curious how Layla’s powers have developed and what exactly she’s capable of. She seems to be much farther along in this book than she was in the last, so I’m curious about where her skill level is. I suppose Cal wouldn’t really know in this one since he had his own stuff going on, so I shall eagerly await the next book!

I loved the introduction of new villains also! I can’t wait to see how Layla will deal with the hunters, and who are these mysterious detectives? Very curious indeed! What a fun read, and a great addition to this series!
