No Escape by Aspen Campbell

I enjoyed No Escape and the chemistry between Callie and Patrick, Derek, and Gage. That being said, I was a little disappointed in the steamy scenes. I love a good primal/CNC read, but I have really high expectations for them.

Sticking it in “at a brutal pace” was kind of eh….I wanted more. I didn’t feel like the chases were very long, and it didn’t seem like she engaged much in a primal/CNC way. I’d have liked to see her fight a little more and for the guys to actually chase her, maybe even let her go so she could run a bit more before they tackled her, things like that.

This was a fun read, though. It was quick and I was engaged from start to finish. I’d love to read more with these characters and then getting to know each other more outside of the scenes they did. I wish the club scene was expanded a bit more towards the end, but it is what it is.
