Beastly & Bookish – Catrina Bell

I’m an absolute sucker for a friends-to-lovers trope, so Beastly & Bookish was right up my alley! I think of all three books, this one had the characters that I could relate to the most. I loved Noelle and Rom, they were so perfect for each other, and I was so happy to see them come back together! And I finally got to see the ceremony!

Uncle Darren made me so emotional. Noelle’s relationship with him and wanting to be his one safe space in the face of his early onset dementia choked me up. It was so sweet and really brought home how horribly sad and scary dementia is. I have such a soft spot for this relationship, and I think Catrina did really well in capturing the realities of it.

I’m a little sad to be leaving Winter Bliss, truth be told. This series was so fun to read, and I loved getting to know the characters and the town. Thank you to all three lovely authors for letting me be part of Winter Bliss!
