DAAAAAANIEEEEELLLLLL I’VE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS! God, he’s finally here, and he’s packing! Where has that been hiding all these books 👀 AND HIS MOUTH….Layla is a lucky woman.
All of their arguing and posturing for the first half of the book about drove me wild, I don’t know how Layla puts up with it. It was really interesting, though, how the change in Daniel shifted the dynamics of the relationship. You wouldn’t think it would since he’s been around a while, but it really threw everything off balance, and her other four men had to flounder a bit to figure it out.
I was really glad to see Raul getting closer to everyone. The ‘I hate how much I love you’ about did me in. I literally melted at that; I have a huge soft spot for Raul. As much as I love all her guys, he’s been my favourite since he was introduced. There’s something about him, and it made me happy to see him more and acknowledging how good he and Layla can be.
AND THE WEDDING GIFT 🔥🔥 time to go up in flames. Her men should collaborate more often, good Lord. I didn’t know I needed it until suddenly I really needed it. Everyone really embraced who they were and what they wanted, and I 100% will be needing more five guy spicy times! And I’m still waiting for that ‘I love you’ from Ink….where is it, Ellen???
Veil is bittersweet for me because I know it’s close to the end. Things are really looking bad for Layla and while I really want to read the next one and see what happens, my heart is breaking because it’ll be the end of a series that’s come to be one of my favourites I’ve ever read.
