There’s something so satisfying about reading a Hitz book. Any time I pick one up, I know I’m in for atmosphere, a beautifully written cast of characters, and horrifying, blood-soaked adventure!
With as many of his as I’ve read, one would think I’d’ve learned by now not to get too attached to any one character. It’s always a toss-up of who will survive and who will be intact by the end of a Hitz book, but he makes it so hard not to get attached to the good guys. I couldn’t help but get invested in these characters and what was happening to them, despite knowing there was a good chance that one/several weren’t going to come out the other side.
I’m so fascinated by Custer Falls and the world that Hitz has built. Each book in the series builds so well on what’s been written before, and it’s such a great reading experience. This series has quickly become one of my favourites, and each release is more eagerly anticipated than the last. I don’t know what I’m going to do if Hitz ever quits giving me new stories and characters in this world.
A big thank you to the author for the copy, and I can’t wait to read what you put out next!
