Watermelon With You? is a very cute enemies-to-lovers novella featuring a hot mechanic who did a lot of growing up (did I mention he’s a pig dad?) and a woman scarred in more ways than one finding their way back to each other.

Cora’s story was interesting to see in a romance book; I’ve never read any book with her particular struggle, but I was glad to see it here. A lot of people don’t know how hard it is to deal with that sort of thing and how much women struggle for any type of healthcare and I had a lot of empathy for Cora and what she went through.

This story overall jumped around a little too much for me. I was never sure how much time was passing or how the sequence of the events was happening. I wanted it to be a little clearer how things were progressing.

This was a cute story, though, and I did enjoy reading it! This series is so much fun to read and experience with each new author adding to it!
