Diablo House: Reflections – Jon Cohn

There are loads of reasons why one should be wary of mirrors: 7 years of bad luck, Bloody Mary, Candyman….I could go on. Now, to my list, I’ll add creepy guys with eyes and teeth mirrors!

I’ve been sitting here since I finished this short story cataloguing all the things around me that are reflective in some way, and it’s rather disconcerting to realize what that number is. It would be nigh on impossible to avoid my reflection entirely, so I guess I’d have no choice but to walk around Malorie style and hope nothing unfortunate happens to me while I can’t see.

Part of me feels bad for KC; it would be very hard to lose your daughter and wife that close together. Especially from the actions of someone else. That would be really hard to handle, but that also doesn’t mean you should go out and seek vigilante justice. Definitely not when the information you received was from strange weirdo at your wife’s funeral. Not the time, man!

This was another great Jon Cohn story. If you’ve not read his catalogue, you’re really missing out on some fun stuff!
