Auctioned to the Prisoners – Stephanie Brother

Stephanie’s books are always an interesting read, and this one was just as fun as I was expecting! Lory agrees to auction her body to help raise money for her sister, but the man who buys her didn’t buy her for himself…. he bought her for three inmates at the prison he oversees who did him a favour!

Rock, Hyde, and Kinkaid all are broken in different ways by the circumstances they find themselves in, and reading as they navigated healing not just themselves but each other also added another layer to the story.  Lory was exactly what they needed, especially Hyde.

I will admit, however, I got a little caught up in the logistics of this. I’ve worked in legal for quite some time, and my mind got stuck on the “this could never happen this way,” and I took myself out of the story. It was hard for me to suspend my disbelief to fully throw myself into this, but I did enjoy the heat and the drama of it all despite myself.

What can I say, I’m a sucker for a happy ending! Thank you to Stephanie for the early look!
