The Catch Volume One – Steve Bryant and Ismael Canales

I’m going to need more of this story! One of my favourite thriller series is Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series, and it’s about a bounty hunter. It’s a concept I absolutely love in literature, and I think Steve and Ismael did it beautifully.

I loved Lucy, and I’m really interested in learning more about her and why her relationships with her parents are so different. I’m curious about how her relationship with Jack started also and how he’ll grow into his character as the issues come out.

I thought the superpowers were a nice twist to the bounty hunter story as well! I’m not usually a big superhero person, mostly because they get really similar the more you watch/read, but adding an independent bounty hunter into the mix along with superheroes and an FBI unit dedicated to bringing down supervillains made this unique and a really fun read.

I really hope that Steve writes more for this! I need to follow more of this world!
