A Frenemy in Need – Catrina Bell

Now I’m mad at Catrina too for ANOTHER. FANTASTIC. BOOK. that’s everything I ever wanted for an enemies to friends to lovers trope! The teasing relationship that Rex and Birdie have was so perfectly done!

I love the hints of Turkish culture that Catrina included as well. The henna and the really delicious sounding dishes at meals were so interesting to read. I had to look up some of the foods, but I’m always happy for a chance to learn more about the world around me and the people in it.

Rex is one of my favourite demons I’ve read about in Winter Bliss. I love how free he is, both with his words and his actions, and unapologetically himself he is with everyone around him. He’s such a louder than life character, but then I caught a glimpse of his softer hidden side, and it rounded his character out so well! I’m a very happy reader with A Frenemy in Need, that’s for sure.

I have one more book to go before I have to say goodbye to Winter Bliss for now, and I’m really excited to learn more about the last member of our wayward trio!
