Ellen’s Krampus has completely ruined me for any other monster romance. How is anything supposed to compete with an 8 foot tall beastly Krampus with a sinful mouth and a massive pierced tree branch??? And the jingle bells…

Amaya, our delightfully naughty Queen, is possibly one of my favourite female characters I’ve read. Where most people would’ve folded under the horror and trauma of the situation she narrowly escaped, Amaya pulled herself up by her fashionably made boots and grabbed the Krampus by the horns! She’s fierce, protective, and just the right amount of dark to be the Krampus’ Queen.

I’ve also completely reaffirmed by desire to never ever ever have children. That little brat is the real horror here, my God. Amaya is better than me because I’d have gone storming out of that house completely done long before the 9 o’clock time frame!

As always, Ellen gave me a fantastic book reading experience (I say while I’m a pair of floating eyeballs and a puddle)! The Krampus’ Queen will go on the Ellen Mint Titles I’m Completely Obsessed With list!
