Christmas After All – CeCe Louise

4 stars

I’m usually not much for clean, fade-to-black style romance (give me all the dirty, hot-and-heavy action possible), but Christmas After All was absolutely adorable!

I have a lot of respect for Melissa for stepping up like she did after her parents died. She put her dreams on hold, adapted to an entirely new way of life, and did her level best to take care of her two teenage siblings. She’s proud, independent, and definitely someone that I could admire! Though I’d have maybe made Tucker grovel a little more…

Tucker’s a gem! I’m very love-hate with him because ‘After All’ was really not a good choice, WHATSOEVER, but what he did for Melissa and her siblings melted my heart. As a very independent woman though, I can absolutely understand and appreciate Melissa’s stance on that (my thanks to the author for giving me a character who wouldn’t just accept a man doing everything for her).

I read this much quicker than I’d have liked to. When I got to the end, I was so disappointed that I was done because I loved seeing Tucker and Melissa grow towards each other. And Melissa was finally realizing her dreams! I could’ve read a thousand more pages of this and been very heart happy!

There are more books in this series, and I’m eagerly anticipating reading Kelsey giving old Brycie the kick to the curb he deserves (what an edgelord >.>)
