This book is by far the most important romance I’ve ever read, and I’ll never forget it for as long as I live.

Abbie’s character is so impactful for me, with as a woman and someone who has chronically been told they’re ‘too much.’ While my vibe is more emo and metal, I’ve never related so damn much to a character as I did to Abbie. And I’ve never wanted to be friends with anyone more than I did her, Cami, and Kat.

Their plan for revenge was absolutely perfect and beautifully crafted. Richard got everything he deserved for what he did, and it did my heart so good to read every last creatively inconvenient thing that they did to him. AND THE PUNCHES….beautiful.

I’m also glad to see attorneys who aren’t painted as arrogant, slimy, money hungry people. I work in law and, while there are definitely slimy, not fantastic attorneys out there, there’s plenty of great ones also and I am so happy to see this book show that instead of leaning into the stereotype.

And Damien….sexy silver fox Damien is FILTHY, holy hell. There were several times I had to stop and breathe for a second because that man could go flawlessly between meltingly dirty and so damn sweet I could cry. Spicy book standards, YOU HAVE BEEN RAISED

This is easily the best romance book I’ve ever read, and I wish, more than anything, that I could read it for the first time again.
