Zoey’s Christmas Surprise – Lynn Richards

This was a very quick read where the curvy girl gets her happily-ever-after with her brother’s best friend, who she never in a million years thought would like her.

Parts of this were a little challenging to read because the POV switched several times without an easily definable switching spot. Sometimes, I wasn’t completely sure whose POV I was reading in because it randomly changed so much.

I think I’d have liked this more if it was longer. Nick’s character needed more time to develop and ease into being with Zoey. He was kind of wishy washy there for a bit, then was suddenly all in, aggro-dom possessive caveman. I felt like I missed a step somewhere in his character development.

Zley’s Christmas Surprise wasn’t a bad read; just a little confusing and could have used one last pass through editing to clean up a few things.
