I don’t tend to read much MM for some reason, something I should really resolve because I’ve enjoyed all of the ones I’ve read, but Frosty the Farmhand is an excellent reason to want to explore more!
Reid and Harlan were adorable together. The grumpy/sunshine trope is always so much fun to read, and Harlan, the poor sap, had no idea what was coming for him. The moment that a grumpy, mildly oblivious guy realizes he’s completely gone on someone is such a sweet moment, and Harlan’s was perfect ❤️
Reid’s family make me so happy. The relationship that he has with all his cousins is the relationship that I wish I had with mine. They’re so protective and loving with him, and I really liked reading that. Alexandra has a way with writing family dynamics that makes me feel all the warm fuzzies; like being wrapped in the softest blanket ever.
I will say that the ending was a little bittersweet for me, but I’m a grudge holder and not very forgiving at times so I’ll never be able to understand how Reid could take Harlan back so easily. I’d have made him grovel and work so much more before I’d have even considered taking him back after the hurt he caused.
Anytime Alexandra’s name comes across my devices, I know I’m going to be in for a really great read. She’s worked her way into my heart, and now I have no choice but to go on a deep dive through her catalogue while I wait for her next release 😁
