The cackles I descended into when I realized that Connor, the very definition of a rake, got turned into an actual rake! The sheer poetry of that plot point alone was beautiful.

And Kyle, God bless him. Everyone needs a friend who doesn’t blink at your weird kinky requests! I love that he didn’t even question Taylor’s sudden interest and need for a random new rake; he just went along with it because that’s what Taylor wanted. WHAT A MAN!

I’ve only read one other book in this series so far, but it’s so much fun to read. They’re silly but I’ve had a smile on my face the whole time I’ve been reading them. Life is serious enough….I need some silly happily-ever-afters
