Oh, Spatha, my sweet summer child. Him thinking the Mel was going to run for the hills seeing his true form, and her being all hubba hubba **waggles eyebrows** has to be my favourite thing! I mean, honestly, same, but that interaction was absolutely priceless.

Mel’s whole dynamic with Spatha was fantastic, really. Him being all dominant and Mel being like uh huh, cute, now time to be a good boy. **Chef’s kiss** I don’t get to read enough of that dynamic, and I’m very content with it here. And Spatha being super possessive and weird about Kyle was interesting also since most of the MMCs have been perfectly alright with him from the start. I liked that addition a lot.

I know there’s a tie-in with Pogs later, and I’m fighting myself not to jump straight to it so I can get the full experience first, but I’m having the literal time of my life with this series and I can’t wait to keep exploring it!
