Killer Mike and the Blood Slugs was a very quick read but an interesting one. It also reinforced my relative dislike of slugs in general and made me want to find the largest salt shaker I could!

I did get a little lost to the correlation of the band, Killer Mike and the Blood Slugs, and the Mike that’s just a killer. It didn’t feel clear to me that there was any association between the two, and I kind of forgot about the band entirely. I also felt like I missed a little backstory for Mike, like maybe I had missed a book or soke content before this one.

That being said, I did enjoy the read! It was a nice palette cleanser between longer/heavier books, and I’d definitely read more in the series if more books come out (with giant salt shaker in hand).
