Purrfect Planning – Tamrin Banks

1 star

I had a surprisingly tough time reading this one. I really didn’t like Micah at all and that dislike made it hard for me to get excited about his love story with Aspen.

The men in this story (except Jasper) came across as extremely condescending to Aspen. From Micah who wouldn’t leave Aspen alone after finding out she’s pregnant and insisting that he knew better than her about her own healthcare and wellbeing to the doctor who basically strong-armed her into being admitted into the hospital and insinuated that she didn’t know how to take care of herself and couldn’t be trusted about her healthcare, the men in this book really set me off.

The events in the plot also felt a little disjointed. I almost felt like I had missed some chapters or some content because things were happening so fast. I got a little lost with everything and it seemed like Aspen and Micah flip flopped their feelings so much; it made my head spin. They didn’t fit together for me at all.

Unfortunately, this book just didn’t do it for me. I couldn’t get into it at all.
