God, this book was adorable!

Single parent romances aren’t typically my go-to, but the description of this book sounded too darn cute to pass up. And my instincts were right….I absolutely loved it!

Kali and Ripley were HOT 🔥🔥 and they were really playful and fun with each other, too. I loved the way that Kali interacted with Juniper even when her and Ripley weren’t necessarily friendly. Kali did feel a little wishy washy about certain things to me, but I still enjoyed her character a lot!

The one thing that did stick out to me, and this is more of a me thing, really, was Kali calling Ripley “Rip.” It felt clunky, especially in the heat of the moment when she was yelling “Oh god, Rip” and all I could think about was rip a fart, rip clothes, rip skin, Rest in Peace….lots of things that you don’t want to be thinking about in the bedroom.

What a fun return to Starlight Bay, and I can’t wait to meet Bristol again soon!
