A Forbidden Spring – Alexandra Hale

I am so soft for the Sterlings, it’s not even funny! Every time they appear in a book, it makes my heart happy. They’re such a dynamic, protective family, and I love the relationships they all have with each other. I will absolutely never get tired of reading about the Sterlings in any capacity.

Despite not being the main character, I was completely taken in by Beau’s cameo. His “Let’s go for a ride, Harlan” made me a puddle of mush. He’s so protective of his siblings, and getting to see that with each book is something special. He’s fast becoming my favourite character across the board, and I’m so happy for him and Indie both (once they get their happy ending too)!

And, of course, Wren is an absolute gem. She deserves the world, and watching her wrangle Merrick was far more entertaining than it had any right to be 😂 that man had no idea what he was getting into. Her casual threat to burn his life down if he messed with her was beautiful. THE POWER! Who doesn’t love a strong, powerful woman??

This was another great read by Alexandra, and if she’s not on your must-read list, you’re really missing out!
