You know, I’ve heard people say that a lot of women meet their future partner(s) at the grocery store. Clearly, I’m in the wrong store, but let’s go, Stella!
I thought this book was really interesting in that Cam and Wyatt were content creators. I really liked the idea of their channel, and their content sounds like a lot of fun, both the thirst trap and the tamer stuff! Cam and Wyatt were just really fun characters to read in general, and I was smiling and laughing for most of the book!
Jessie was a huge part of the book, and I liked that a lot. It added more depth to Stella’s character and showed another side of Wyatt and Cam. I also enjoyed that Jessie’s bio dad wasn’t a piece of garbage and didn’t cause all kinds of issues. A lot of single parent books make the other parent into a demon, so this was a nice departure from that.
Stephanie’s books are always great reads, but there’s something about her rom-coms that’s on another level. They have the right amount of spice to offset the silly, and her characters are relatable and easy to connect with.
This one was extra fun because in my head, I kept hearing STELLLLLLAAAAA a la Streetcar Named Desire 😂
