I’m so upset this book is over! I loved every second I was reading it and got so attached to these characters (especially Jax, but I loved them all).
After reading the dedication, one of my favourites I’ve read so far, I had so much hope for what this book could be, and it delivered on all levels! The spice, the adventure, THE HEAT….literally everything I wanted. Sometimes, it takes me a bit to warm up to Omegaverse plotlines, but Welcome to Bone Town had all the elements of an Omegaverse I love without the ones I’m more hesitant about.
I loved the backdrop of this story, too! Archeology and similar areas have always fascinated me, and I really enjoyed getting to see some of that here.
There was one thing that didn’t quite work as well for me, though. There was a moment where Cora let Roman lead, and I thought she took a bit of a step back as a character. I really wanted to see her step forward and take the lead there to show that she wasn’t helpless and that, while she didn’t need alphas or their protection, she still chose them.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series! I’ll miss all these characters (especially Jax, I might have a slight obsession….) but I’m looking forward to meeting Caspian and his soon-to-be packmates!
