Eleven Cowboys – Stephanie Brother

5 stars

“What you’ve written here? It’s the start of a story that will reach off the page and into people’s chests.” This line by Harrison ripped me apart. Stephanie may have written this about Grace, but I wholeheartedly believe that this book also fits the bill.

I was a little concerned since 11 men is A LOT and I was afraid I’d lose track of everyone, but I fell in love with all of them (even Brody and his overly-cautious almost cold manner). My heart connected with Grace, and her character hit me so much in my soul. I saw a little of me in her insecurities, and I connected with her almost instantly.

The way she opened up to each of the guys in different ways had my heart aching and fit to burst in equal measure. And the way they, in turn, opened up to her in their own way. Each of them were beautifully different and scarred, and I couldn’t help but hold them close to me as I got to know them.

I’ve always loved Stephanie’s books, but her recent releases have me getting obsessed all over again!
