The Angry One – Kyle Rader

The Angry One was an absolute blast to read! While short, I was hooked into it the whole way and would love to see more of the world and entities that Kyle created.

I absolutely loved the narration style of our main character, Mr. Brava. It was like I was talking to someone I met for drinks or at some sort of seminar. It added another layer to the storytelling for me as it gave the whole thing a personality and life of its own.

This novella also gave me something new to think about in that you never really know the people around you. That guy you always see at the grocer could very well be hiding dagger teeth and slimy frog skin behind his human facade, and you’d never know unless you caught his fancy! It’s an interesting lesson to learn, all jokes aside.

Kyle Rader is definitely on my radar now! If all his books are as well-researched and exciting as The Angry One, then I’m in for a real treat
