Her Wonderful Wonder Belle – Sylvia Morrow

Pearl is surprisingly progressive for being from the 1940’s.  I love it, but it threw me off a little with her being so open-minded and decisive about what she wanted even when it went completely against the overall sentiment of the time she came from.

She’s so freaking cute, especially when she’s trying to figure out something modern that she’s not familiar with. It would be really scary to suddenly be somewhere completely different from where you were, and she handled it so well! Her teasingly calling Delia a floozy had me in stitches 😂

I’m also a huge fan of ridiculous sports team names, and the Wonder Balls and their fight song is so wonderfully silly that it makes me cheesy grin every time they come up. Just imagining people gathering in a bar/restaurant yelling BALLS! BALLS! BALLS! because they’re supporting their local sports team is hilarious
