KMBS The Leap of Faith – Matthew Jon Smith

While Leap of Faith isn’t as extreme or fast paced as prior KMBS stories, I think it’s the best of the series so far. And arguably one of the most important.

Mike really grows a lot here as he struggles with what the meaning of life is (tragically, not 42 apparently) and how he fits into it all. And that tease of a revelation about why he is the way he is was very nicely done! Then it was all swept away as Mike fully becomes who he was always meant to be….

I enjoyed the addition of the mysterious woman as well. Even though I mever learned her name, she was essential to Mike’s growth and his final transformation. The banana peel made me facepalm so hard though 🤦‍♀️ moral of the story? Always litter when it comes to banana peels!

I’m so interested in seeing where Mike goes from here and how his story continues to develop now that he’s fully accepted his role in life.
