Xenos – Dan Abnett

This was my first foray into Warhammer 40k and I am completely hooked!

Gregor Eisenhorn has completely captivated me and I have an almost pathological need to keep reading and see where his story goes. I really like the idea of Inquisitors, those drafted by the Emperor of Mankind to hunt down xenos and heretics alike, and enjoyed seeing the dynamics between them and how different each of them were.

Abnett did a great job of adding in suspense at just the right time! Some parts would start getting bogged down a bit but then the action would come screaming back to the story and I’d be almost skipping words in my hurry to find out what was happening.

I haven’t felt this excited to read a book in a long time! Xenos has me completely hooked and I can’t wait to see what happens next and what other people I’ll get introduced to!
