This one was cute! Eden has a crush on her godfather, but he rejects her the night before she turns 18 by telling her that she needs to live a full life. She takes his words to heart and, four years later, is back to get her man.

I enjoyed that Nolan tried to hold back at first, but Eden was on a mission. I wanted to see a little more conversation between the two of them. It seemed like the bulk of their meaningful interaction happened outside of the book. I was disappointed too that most of Nolan’s dirty talk was left out. I’d have liked to read that instead of being told that it happened.

This was a cute, short read, though. Thank you to Give Me Books for the ARC. Everything in this review is my opinion!
