Man, some girls have all the luck! Fox is a dream, so are Ash, Atlas, and Derek, really, and I absolutely love a damaged hero. I love an MMC who’s growly and primal, but isn’t afraid to be vulnerable and admit his mistakes, and Fox checked every box! The spit play was a nice touch, too. I’ve not come across that yet in a book, so I was very pleasantly surprised.
I like Janie a lot, but I wanted to see a little bit more oomph in her handling of Brody. She’s been a social media influencer for awhile, arguably much more successful than Brody, and she’s got her dad’s temper (on top of being a redhead), so I wanted to see some of that fire instead of pretty much letting Brody get away with everything. I felt like she missed a slight step in her development there, though I get the decision to do so for progressing the plot on her influencer career.
My Why Choose heart was busily constructing situations for Janie to be with all four of them 😂 I love her with her possessive, alpha male, but it would be a lie if I said I wasn’t the teensiest bit disappointed in not getting some sort of RH to this. Still absolutely loved the book, though, nothing against it!
I can’t wait to go through the rest of this series and see the others get their happy endings, too!
