New Tune, Old Vinyl – Ember Davis

4/5 stars

I always have such a good time with Ember’s books! I find her in several series that I’m working through, and I always get so excited when I see her name come up! I know that I won’t be disappointed with anything of hers I read.

Tallulah inherited her parents’ record store when they passed, but the store isn’t doing very well. Despite her best efforts, there’s nothing that can be done, and she has to close the store. Her brother comes home to help her, and he brings his woman and Scythe, one of his MC brothers. Scythe sees Tallulah and knows that she’s his one, and now it’s time to bring her home!

‘New Tune, Old Vinyl’ was very cute for an MC! I love when the guy falls first, and Scythe practically getting hearts in his eyes when he saw Tallulah was adorable. He came to her at such a vulnerable time in her life and gave her the support that she needed to see it through. I liked seeing Scythe interact with Addyson, too!

The reconnection between Apostle and Tallulah made my heart happy. I really felt for Tallulah as she struggled to keep her parents’ legacy together on her own and tried so hard to hide how much she wanted her brother back in her life to support her. Their relationship added so much to this story, and it was a really heartwarming element to the book.

I’m really enjoying this series a lot! I love the small town vibes and the fantastic cast of characters!
