My man, Eisenhorn, is back! I’m so happy to get to learn more about what he ws doing between books and even some background on Ravenor’s adventures too

It was really cool to see things like orcs and Adeptus Astartes in these short stories since they’re things that haven’t come up yet in this series. I liked the fun little introduction to these elements as I’ll soon be leaving the Inquisitor series and heading for Comissars.

I do wish that there was more of Eisenhorn’s career shown though. For a book that includes the Definitive Casebook of Gregor Eisenhorn, I really wanted to see more of the stuff that he’s dealt with and the people he met over the years.

Magos knocked it out of the park, though! There’s SO MUCH going on, I can’t wait to see how it all comes together.

And Eisenhorn can smile again!!!
