Bless James for thinking he was going to resist lol. Mia may not have been experienced and worldly, but she knew exactly what, and who, she wanted.

I loved the contrast between James’ darkness and Mia’s sweetness. They were really cute together, and I enjoyed the idea of this big, Scottish warrior being hopelessly besotted with Mia. That was adorable!

I liked how Mia developed over the course of the story as well. She took her fate into her own hands, and I was glad to see James let her and not insist on taking care of everything anyway. That was a really important step for Mia’s character, and I was glad to see it.
