Sick! Sick! Sick! is a bizarre (in all the right ways) collection of extreme horror stories that will have you questioning everything you know about humanity! This was a short read, but Robert has a style that you just can’t look away from no matter how gross or horrifying the content.

Every story I read, I’ve realized that humans generally shouldn’t be left to their own devices; they tend to get into some horribly questionable situations otherwise. I mean, really, what do you do when you’re suddenly faced with a giant undulating blob thing covered in genitals and leaking various fluids? If you’re Kyle, you dive right in!

Let’s not forget about Andre, the man who became a nurse for every reason that he shouldn’t have. The man’s got some real nasty interests, and now he knows all the ways to maximize the process. So what do you do when you find an urban legend in the flesh? Hubba hubba, *insert suggestive eyebrow waggle*

These are just a couple examples of the very concerning reasons Robert Essig has given me that we as a species are best kept occupied! Other important lessons from this collection include anything can be a hole if you’re creative enough, do your research before attending sketchy sounding parties, and never let someone tie you down and put a pacifier in your mouth.
